On Thursday's Top 13 results show, Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert performed an acoustic version of his song, "Aftermath." When he was done performing, Adam caught up with Ryan Seacrest and mentioned that proceeds from the "Aftermath" (Remix by Billboard) track will be donated to The Trevor Project.
The Trevor Project helps prevent suicide among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. On Adam's official website he says that the song "was written about finding the courage to be honest with yourself and the people who love you. It's about facing adversity and taking risks in the name of personal liberation. The song takes on different meanings to different listeners. I hope this song inspires people to be who they truly want to be...and dance!"
Adam's "Aftermath" (Remix by Billboard) is now exclusively available on Adam's Official Site. Portions of the profits will be donated to The Trevor Project plus you can get 10% off your next purchase at Adam's store.
