In a video obtained by TMZ, Shirley gets an earful from the accused felon, but the video raises serious questions about the man himself.
Shot in April, the clip shows Shirley on the phone with Amber Portwood, who goes off on him as usual. Strangely, he seems to revel in it.

Portwood pleaded not guilty to assault this week, but Shirley wasn't always playing victim. He made sure his friend captured this diatribe in all its glory.
Several times, Shirley and his friend are laughing at Amber, who sounds very upset, although she was reportedly encouraged to fight Gary by MTV.
The police report detailing the battery notes that Amber Portwood claimed it was not done for Teen Mom viewers' benefit but was authentic anger.
Was Gary was really a "victim" of violence, though? Or was he just playing it up for the cameras, or genuinely trying to antagonize his baby mama?
