Super bowl Recap
Last Sunday was a very memorable day for Aaron Rodgers. He took the Green Bay Packers all the way to the Super Bowl and walked away with a championship for the first time in the last 14 years. And Big Ben didn’t have to bad of a game himself either. It took him the first half to get warmed up and once he did, he was on a roll but couldn’t come away with the win in the end.
Aaron Rodger was voted as the game MVP and had the stats to back it up. He completed 24 out of 39 passes during his game against Troy Polamalu and the Steelers strong defense. He started out the game in the first quarter with a 29-yard pass to Jordy Nelson to score the first touchdown of the game. For the remainder of the touchdowns Rodgers passed it to Nick Collins, Greg Jennings, and Mason Crosby.
Troy Polamalu was basically absent in his game while he was defending against Aaron Rodgers and had only one tackle during the whole game. The Steelers two biggest defensive stars -- Defensive Player of the Year safety Troy Polamalu and outside linebacker James Harrison-- were virtually invincible.
Overall it was a very good game. It started out as a blow-out but in the second half the Steelers began to make their comeback, but in the end the Packers took the victory.
