Season 6's Chris Sligh turns 33 today. This has been a huge year for Chris, who became a first-time father, released an album, and performed all over America.
On Halloween morning, Chris and his wife Sarah welcomed a big treat-Keira Lennon Sligh. According to his Twitter account, Chris keeping busy these days-watching Keira giggle and scoot around.
A month and a half before Keira's arrival, Chris released his album called The Anatomy of Broken. "To me, the songs on this album are different pictures of brokenness," reflects Chris. "It's okay to admit when we are fallen and broken. The beauty of brokenness is that it is mirrored with acceptance and change."
Chris has found success in the Christian Rock genre and has even received a Dove Award nomination. He's also had success as a songwriter, and co-wrote the Rascal Flatts song, "Here Comes Goodbye," which went to #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Charts.
